Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Rep Theatre located?

The Rep is located at 103 Seventh Street NE (just off Broadway!) in Rochester, Minnesota.  See the contact page for a map.  There is plenty of free parking available within steps of our front door.  During performances, our wonderful neighbors to the east (Kruse Lumber) and west (Zumbro Health) are happy to share their parking lots with our patrons and parking is also available on the street.

Is the Rep Theatre able to accommodate patrons with disabilities?

The Rep’s facility is wheelchair accessible and all public spaces are on one level.  Please contact the box office to advise us of your needs.

Will someone be available to assist me to my seat for a performance?

Please let our box office staff, house manager or ushers know should you require assistance in reaching your seat for a performance.  Our main lobby, theater space and restrooms are all located on the ground level of our building.

Is there a dress code for shows at the Rep Theatre?

While shirt and shoes are required, there is not a dress code at the theatre – casual or formal, the choice is yours!

How can I reserve and purchase show tickets?

Tickets can be reserved on our website by selecting the “Tickets” tab in the menu. They can also be ordered by calling our box office at 507-289-1737.  Tickets must be purchased at the time of the reservation.  The Rep accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, cash and personal checks for ticket purchases.

How many seats are there for performances at the Repertory Theatre?

The Rep offers our audience an opportunity to experience live theatre in an intimate setting with seating for approximately 90 audience members.  All seats have excellent views of the stage and our shows generally run for 8-11 performances each.

Uh oh, here comes the snow! Will a show be cancelled?

Since the Rep Theatre is located in the weather-tested Midwest, inclement weather is not a cause for a show’s cancellation. As long as the cast (made up of hearty Minnesotans) can make it to the theatre, there will be a show. If the status of a show does change, an announcement will be posted on the home page of this website and/or on the voice mail of the theatre (507) 289-1737, but please use your own discretion when it comes to travel. If you are uncomfortable traveling to the theatre, you must contact the box office at least two hours prior to the show. While every effort will be made to reschedule your attendance for a future performance (as availability allows), tickets are not eligible for a refund at that point. Missed performances as a result of weather are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Does the Rep Theatre donate tickets for fundraisers?
